We bought this to replace the rear wiper on our 2007 Tahoe and within 2 weeks and very limited use we found that the wiper blade was broken.

This Viper fits perfectly and is easy to install. This wiper comes with a silicone blade which costs more and cleans the glass very well.

Cheaper than an AC Delco replacement but that's the only positive. It doesn't wipe the entire rear window because the spring is cheaper than the factory spring, so there's no tension. Pressing on the wiper to wipe, secondly the cover on the bolt that holds the arm to the wiper motor fits very poorly and will likely fall off while driving I suppose.

Not so nice that the thing broke after 5 months. The washer fluid hose is broken. I was able to fix it temporarily to make it through the winter, but it fell apart again and is beyond repair. I need to be able to wash the rear window and I don't know if this is a design flaw or just an accident. So I'll order another one and see how long it lasts.

EVERYTHING is perfect except for one thing. No installation tool is supplied. Your normal normal tools that everyone has will work. However, there is a useful tool ($12) that is worth the extra money. It's not necessary, but it makes things easier, and for a non-mechanic like me, it's eliminated the "I won't break anything else on my machine" worry I always get when trying to DIY a project to perform. The product looks the same as the original. The tool made me feel like a top notch mechanic.
