The Wire Pulling Tongs Plier Drawplate is a great tool for any jewelry maker. Based on my observations, it is very durable and easy to use. The pliers have a great grip that makes pulling wire smooth and effortless. I also appreciate the drawplate, which makes wire reduction a breeze. The only downside I've found is that it may be difficult to work with thicker wires. Overall, this tool is a must-have for any jewelry making enthusiast.

They are sturdy and for the price I was hoping they would work well. They are coarse diamond cut and are too coarse to pull smaller gauge wire. A finer tooth groove pattern would be better for my needs. After a few months of use, I now regret not replacing them when they were less than 30 days old. They provide a good grip on the wire as it is pulled through the die to reduce wire size. This is their intended use and they have worked well for it. I don't have to tug on the wire that often so can't comment on how they hold up with constant use, but for occasional use it was a great price.
