I bought this item when it arrived it wasn't working. So I was a bit upset about that. Customer service contacted me and refunded the money based on my review as I didn't get my money back. Maybe it's best if you buy a genuine Xbox brand, to be honest it costs a few bucks more. Maybe this product is right for you? Doesn't work for me.

I bought one of these and really liked it. When I first bought it it was in the box and I could feel the quality and it always had a good connection. However, I lost the first one and had to buy it again, and the second one is much worse. This time it came in a bag and looks cheap and also instantly loses connection when you play games.

At the time of my purchase, the official Xbox adapter was not literally available everywhere. It was also apparent that using a Bluetooth dongle with Xbox controllers is unreliable as I've always had issues. That was great. I've never had a disconnect. Not once. I've played with up to 3 people with no problems so far. I am very satisfied and it is cheaper than the official adapter!

Don't fall into the cheap price trap, buy an official Microsoft adapter instead. The only reliable thing about this adapter is how often it loses connection. After reinstalling the drivers and praying to every god I could think of, I was able to get a stable connection for maybe 15 minutes before it dropped again. On the rare occasions it is left plugged in, this adapter does not support controller vibration.

This item saved a life after struggling with a broken USB cable one after the other. The only thing I would recommend to anyone buying this is just give it a second after connecting it to a computer. For some reason it didn't notify me that anything was installed (drivers) or anything new was plugged into my computer. A few minutes after connecting, check and all relevant drivers should be installed and you can click the button to turn them on.

Update: Upgraded to 4 stars. A day after the evaluation, the adapter worked again. All I had to do was go into Device Manager and Network Adapters and then uninstall the driver for the adapter, which I assumed was the Microsoft Wireless Adapter or something. I unplugged the adapter from my PC, plugged it back in and reinstalled the drivers. After that, the adapter worked again as it should.
