This driveway detector serves my needs well at a reasonable price. The detailed instructions were a surprise and the components were easy to install. Calibration (alignment) of the sensor was done through trial and error, but few adjustments were needed. The included doorbell push was a bonus as I didn't have a doorbell. The receiver contains 50 different melodies that can be programmed separately for each sensor.

I have a long driveway and when someone enters the driveway, the motion sensor rings. It's good to know when people are coming. Installed a doorbell. so that my friends can come into my house from the back. Sometimes the sensor is too sensitive and triggers because flowers or trees trigger false alarms in the motion sensor when the wind blows. So be careful when placing flower pots around the motion sensor.

This alarm system is simple and reliable. It has several options in the alarm settings, all of which are easy to program. For those who live in the country like us, this will result in wildlife large and small approaching the driveway. I like it though because it lets us know when there's movement in the driveway. I would definitely buy another one. We didn't use the doorbell because I hadn't decided which door to put it on or if we were going to use it at all.
