Both controllers received were defective. Revain's customer service has been excellent allowing us to return these defective controllers with no issues or issues. As a recommendation I would buy another brand.

Glad to finally have a second controller for our NES Classic Edition gaming system. We can finally play preloaded games for two. This controller works great with the system and has a nice long cord so you can sit comfortably away from your TV screen.

This controller allows you to simply press the game controller buttons without having to press many times and press the action in the simple hold. Perfect! A+

Great! Inexpensive controllers with a cable of the appropriate length. I use these, not the included controller, and they're new, but I've had no problems. Extra buttons are good. Using the Turbo button on Super Double or a+b can be very handy. The best part is that they are very cheap. Excellent stuff.

most importantly yes the directional controls work, they respond the same as the original controller but instead of a 3 foot cable they have a 10 foot cable . respond to button presses. Glad to have found a replacement for the original controller after trying several other third party controllers, all of which had issues of not responding to instructions or button presses. If you have doubts about using a third-party controller, give it a try.

The problem occurs in games like Double Dragon II, where the controller circuitry switches depending on which direction you're facing. The B + A button is a nice addition for games where you need to press both buttons to perform a specific move or jump.
