I like the look of the lights. The reason for the 3 stars is that I JUST plugged it in today after a couple of weeks. Unfortunately one of them doesn't work. Seems to be a sensor problem. Having had to remove it from the door due to a malfunction, the adhesive would prevent it from sticking if I could get it to work. Get what you pay for except they work as advertised.

As others have written in their reviews the adhesive supplied is totally useless so save yourself the frustration and buy some good double sided tape before you even start. A drop of superglue to hold the magnet in place might also be a good idea. Due to the installation I downgraded my rating from 4 to 3 stars. Whoever designed them must have thought that we all drove 1950s cars with flat metal door panels. That's the only way they work as sent. The adhesive will not stick to the materials…

Ok, I'll tell you. Yes it's cool and the light effect is great so I give it 3* but the problem is that the magnet almost has to make contact with the sensor on the light box or it won't turn on and off by itself. I didn't implement the concept, I was just looking for a smooth surface on the door panel to place the lightbox on. Unfortunately, the only smooth surface is an area on my door that is a compartment, and when the door closes there is a "several inch gap" between the truck frame and the
