Not easy to adjust

Unlike the sternum straps of almost all outdoor backpacks, you can't adjust them on the fly when you take off or put on a layer. To adjust it, you have to take the backpack off and fiddle with the attachment on the shoulder strap to adjust the length. I consider this a fatal flaw in the chest strap.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Not bad

Not easy to adjust

I had to take a closer look at the picture, it doesn't adjust as quickly as normal backpack straps. You need to find the fit you want, install it and leave it alone. Constant adjustments would be a problem as there is no strap directly on the buckle. Could bring them back, just might deal with bad design.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Update available

Pretty Strap - Backpacks, Bags & Accessories

Does what it's supposed to do, although it needs further modification to go from good to great. First you need to change the part that goes around your backpack's shoulder strap so it doesn't slide up or down. Can't recommend any solution here as it depends on your backpack. Second, the sewn portion of the clutch needs to be cut and threaded through to allow the webbing to be adjusted once the pack is put on.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Skinny
