I like the thickness of the bags, they weren't too bad but the 300cc oxygen absorbers don't work one bit. First I put one in a bag then I sealed it and it didn't do anything so I reopened it and added 2 oxygen scavengers, sealed it and it still didn't do anything.

Very thick and strong pockets. A bit pricey compared to other brands but worth it especially considering these bags come with oxygen scavengers. In my experience, the gallon size is the ideal bag size for the job. Also think about future use or if you want to trade/swap, this is the perfect size.

Oxygen scavengers work properly. Make sure you put them in an airtight container (such as a rock jar) as soon as you open the package. When you're ready to seal your packs, open the mason jar, take out the required absorbers and seal the rest as quickly as possible. After I filled these bags, some of them had holes. I only knew they had holes because the oxygen scavengers made them look like sealed bags. The ones with holes didn't look like they were vacuum sealed. I wish I could buy resealable bags - there are some zippers in addition to the heat seal. The biggest issue I had with these pouches is that all 100 oxygen scavengers are in one pack so once opened you have very little time to use them all before they get bigger and unusable - probably less than
