After I filled these bags, some of them had holes. I only knew they had holes because the oxygen scavengers made them look like sealed bags. The ones with holes didn't look like they were vacuum sealed. I wish I could buy resealable bags - there are some zippers in addition to the heat seal. The biggest issue I had with these pouches is that all 100 oxygen scavengers are in one pack so once opened you have very little time to use them all before they get bigger and unusable - probably less than an hour . Once opened, you can quickly pour most into airtight jars, but even then they won't be 100% effective. I ended up buying additional oxygen scavengers in separate packs of 10.
