I have used this model filter every 5000 miles for the last 11 years in my 2008 Saturn. The filter always fits perfectly, a fresh O-ring always seals well and a used filter looks solid.

GM cheaper with plastic fuel filter housing and paper cartridge compared to the previous type. A large metric nut and a strong hand are required to unscrew the housing, and the nasty diesel that escapes during the changing process is also annoying. The machinist said it needed to be changed and I did.

Perfect filter design with o-ring on the bottom instead of felt. These filters feel and at least look better. I used this (57674) on my 2014 Chevy Cruze 1.4 Turbo. I drive it about 5500 miles before changing. I know I could last longer with this filter and modern synthetic oils, but the turbos on these cars require a lot of fresh oil.
