Arrived as described. I'm not a huge fan of rubber gaskets (I usually make my own liquid gasket) but this one seems to be made out of a decent compound that was a bit harder than what I've used in the past. You can't go wrong with WIX filters, I use them exclusively in my JK.

Great filter/seal. I would add three instructions. 1-Put the pad in the sun. It will be flat and pliable. 2-Apply a small amount of liquid to the seal. It will fit better. Don't overdo it. 3 filter goes in easily when properly aligned. don't fight it After 2 weeks it dries like dust.

Worked great, the rubber seal was not used as the Jeep did not use it either. I used RTV seal cleaner and then let it sit for 24 hours and there were no leaks. Got 8qts for me in case anyone is interested and don't be fooled by the fact the gear oil has to be Mopar or Bust. ATF+4 is ATF+4 regardless of the name on the bottle.

The product itself is excellent. We are very disappointed with the seller's speed of delivery. Ordered this with two related items. Everything was listed as "in stock". The other two items arrived after 2 and 3 days from the seller - thank you but... According to our records the wick filter seller delayed the order for 4 days before finally shipping the item. It arrived two days later, but during this delay the jeep sat idle until a replacement part arrived.

This and Dodge lube and 4 liters of fluid fixed the intermittent shifting problem in the Dodge Dakota. Only 8,000 miles since the last filter and fluid change and the problem has gotten worse. Get an ATF +4 lube if you have trouble shifting. This is the best and only additive I have ever used that does what it says on a wide range of vehicles.
