With lube and fresh fluid, Dakota's shifting problem was fixed.
This and Dodge lube and 4 liters of fluid fixed the intermittent shifting problem in the Dodge Dakota. Only 8,000 miles since the last filter and fluid change and the problem has gotten worse. Get an ATF +4 lube if you have trouble shifting. This is the best and only additive I have ever used that does what it says on a wide range of vehicles. Change the filter and fluid and add lube and I can almost guarantee that this will solve most problems. If you make the mistake of adding Dexron Mercon Lube Gard, it also becomes an ATF+4 compatible fluid.
