Great tool. Exactly. Repeatable measurements.

Like all Wixey products it is very well made and accurate. I tried another brand first but it turned out to be useless so inaccurate. The arms on this are a bit bulky in the limited space, but overall a good compromise. Worth a little more money compared to the competition.

Pros
  • Ideal for measuring and marking
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great device but you'll have to improvise if you want to hang it.

This is a quality tool. I was hoping that its description as magnetic would mean it would stick to the ribbon magnet on my shop wall. The magnetic inserts in his hands are too weak for that. I drilled holes in the levers and it hangs on a nail in my wall, alongside all my other truly magnetic gauges on their respective magnetic holders.

Pros
  • Strong magnets on all blade edges for easy handling
Cons
  • So far so good

Very good digital protractor

I received this to install a crown in my house and measure some outside corners I had. He did an excellent job with this task. This tool is accurate enough for woodworking and offers good value for money compared to some other tools that do the same job. I'm not sure what you can use it for, but there are magnets on the ends of the protractor. Might be useful if you're using this for processing, but I guess 0.1 degree precision isn't meant for that. Most of my tools don't have metal surfaces on

Pros
  • Blades can be tightened to measure
Cons
  • Obsolete model
