I ordered XXL and it fits like a medium. I've read they run small so I ordered 2 sizes up hoping they would be a loose fit - no luck. This jacket is good for the price. However, it is flat. I don't see any evidence that this doesn't work, but I can't be sure. I thought there would be more swelling. In general I am satisfied with my purchase. Again for the price. Def is not a winter jacket. NYC gets cold days and I hope he can handle 60 to 45 degrees (in a hoodie).

I really liked this jacket. I ordered 2XL and am usually large or XL depending on body tightness but mostly arm length. I read all the previous reviews and figured the bigger the better. Based on the preliminary reviews I ordered a large when I would have ordered a medium size for her but she insisted on a large size so she could layer underneath. I love this jacket! Great find for the price. The hood is easy to put on and take off and I like that the neck doesn't feel too tight when the jacket is fully buttoned up. The arms are long enough for me and I love that there is an elastic band around the wrists to keep cold air out! I'm surprised by all the positive reviews. The jacket I received had almost no down in many places and no padding at all, so it feels like a very thin and light windbreaker. There were small clumps of down in some places on the jacket, so I tried to maneuver and push the small clumps into areas of the jacket where there was no padding.
