This should be a #4 AWG welding wire. That's how the package was marked, but the wire in the package was marked #6 AWG. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, but if you do buy it, check its contents very carefully.

This battery cable was used to install the solar panel. Uses this from battery to battery and then to the bus of + and -. Worked great, used a dremel to cut the wire to length and soldered the ends on, the heat shrink was a very nice addition and made the cables look very professional.

Paid for 5ft cable 4/0. One inch shorted. It might not seem like much, but for the price you paid, you should get what you ordered. Second, cable lugs are worse. They are not suitable for battery posts as the radius on the end is not centered on the lip hole. I had to buy Selterm eyelets which are much better.

Ordered 2/0 cable set. The wire size was correct but the spikes sent were 2 gauge. The lugs are too small for the cable, how do I get the correct lug size for the 2/0 cable from the retailer? Very disappointed with the quality control, be aware that the 2/0 gauge cable will not fit 2 gauge spade terminals. Didn't have to pay for the extra spade lugs that should have been included.

8 gauge wire works well in high current medium length trolling motor battery circuits. I have batteries in the front compartment of the boat in a 24v configuration. I added a 50A circuit breaker to the battery. This is a good kit with hard to reach connectors and heat shrink tubing of the right size and length. It turns out a beautiful and reliable system.

My RV had a 2000w inverter but it only came with 4 gauge wire. The manual for the inverter called for a 2/0 wire and a 250 amp fuse or circuit breaker. I used this cable pack to replace a cheap 4 gauge cable. As others have said, make sure you have the right tools to cut the wire and crimp the ends. I used a heat gun on low power to shrink the shrink wrap around the ends of the wires. It worked great. Good quality!

I used this cable to connect a 5 foot alternator to battery cable for my upgraded 2008 Mustang GT to manufacture. 250 amp heavy duty alternator. This wire was easy to cut with the correct wrap around round wire cutters, the jacket was easy to remove/cut to fit the supplied 5/16 grommets (just grind to size for alternator pole spacing) with the correct 1 -Pack-Crimping Tool included, the heat shrink tubing for the cable was shaped to perfection using a hair dryer and the finished cable worked…

Very good quality cable. The set is perfect, it has everything you need and I'm glad the shrink sleeves came with it. My only issue is that I bought the 10ft black and 10ft red combo and the red is about 8.5ft long. I'm just lucky I didn't need that much red, but I'm a bit disappointed that this company, perhaps not on purpose, makes such mistakes that can jeopardize the project. These wires are very expensive and usually buy exactly what you need. Too bad that happened.

Excellent quality cable! I used it to connect an RV switch mode converter to my battery bank in my 2015 Peterbilt 389 so the batteries get charged from the alternator when parked.
