I bought this ribbon to use as a mat for photos but I have found many other projects and office uses for it. It's wide enough to handle heavy matte or poster board.

The grip is good, the paper is difficult to peel off. You must use a sharp knife to separate the tape from the paper. Comes off the reel easily which is good. I used it in the mini album. I will use it for scrapbooking and other mini albums.

I ordered this ribbon thinking it would replace a music ribbon, but it doesn't have the tight grip that a music ribbon has. I had to tape the pages back together after a week or two to keep them together. This may work for some crafts, but not for gluing flaps onto a scrapbook. I moved it from my workshop to my "garbage box" in case I need double sided tape. I don't know if putting photos in a scrapbook would be good as I don't want to risk a project that ends up being a gift. I will not return

This tape has a very tacky feel (even more so than the well known brands sold at my favorite scrapbooking store) so I expected excellent quality from this tape. However when wrapping the chipboard with 110lb card stock the tape sticks well, I buff it with a bone binder to make sure it is fully taped and set the project aside. I have long been looking for an acid-free tape that I can use for mounting and framing some old and delicate photos. After searching locally, I couldn't find acid-free tape at any hobby store. One shop told me they didn't have it because it would be an addition to their own frame shop; her loss and the takeover of Revane.
