Description of Degree Miter Router Shank for Wolfride

3pcs 1/4 inch shank 45 degree lock miter router bits, suitable for 1/2”, 9/16”, 3/4" stock. Tungsten carbide blades, high-quality alloy steel bodies with coating. Easy to use, run one board vertically and run the other one horizontally, then joint them. Note: 3/4 of the shank must be inserted and securely tightened so that we can use the clamping force. Total garbage for power tool parts and accessories

I don't usually feel the need to scold a product but I was very dissatisfied with the cut quality of this product. I've now spent countless hours reading tutorials on how to tune these beats and even bought myself a rocker tuner. But after all that and wasted a few pieces of wood including a project I was working on I can honestly say spend more money and don't buy this junk. Tai

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some little things

Rip out the plywood! for power tools and hand tools

Item was returned as not suitable for plywood. Using oak and cabinet birch, testing and tuning I couldn't ensure that the finish and the grooves it cuts wouldn't chip and flake horribly. Can you work with hardwood? But most boxes are made of plywood. It wasn't difficult to set up, not sure if that's the case with other brands, but I'll keep using the quarter-quarter-quarter box cutting technique!

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unsure

Don't waste your money

I spent all morning taking her to work. They do a reasonably good job of cutting along the edge if you go through the grain (as any carpenter should). End breaks are a problem. They gnaw wood terribly. The parts look like they went through a wood chipper. I've used different types of hardwood, all with the same result. I even tried making a series of small cuts. Nothing seemed to work. I'm sure I wasted my money on these beats.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
