Wow! Helps me cover my post kids + COVID bod. I tried several board shorts on amazon, and they all fit strangely, not like I remember from the 90s where they were shorts that didn’t usually have elastic and weren’t tight and weren’t super short (I’m not in my teens any longer). These shorts are the best IMO. Just purchased my 4th pair/color. So comfortable bc of the stretch but do not lose their shape at all. The other 3 pairs have been washed and dried in the dryer (not sure if that is recommended) and they all still look great after 2 summers. Love that they have a pocket. I find that they run true to size. I usually wear a size medium in shorts and ordered a size 8 as I don't like them too tight fitting.

Very comfortable, good quality, they run slightly larger then normal sizes. The only reason this is a concern is because you cannot use the free options to return, if they don’t fit you will pay shipping to send them back. The only reason they are slightly larger in size is because there isn’t a way to "tighten” the waist. The strings will tie but they aren’t like surf shop shorts in that you can tighten the waist - it is more for the look of board shorts. If they fit, they are excellent

I bought two pairs in different colors and have worn both multiple times while hanging around the house or working in the yard. The fit is good and they’re true to size. Unlike some reviewers, I didn't find these run small at all. I usually wear a 4 in pants, and the size 4 fit perfectly--I ordered a 4 and a 6 but I didn't even open the 6s because the 4s fit so well. As for the style, I tried on 6 or 7 board shorts of similar style and these were the clear winners. Comfy and flattering on the tummy, hips, and tush. I can't seem to get a good fit with these. I am larger around the middle so ordered a large. They fit in the waste but since I had to get a larger size they were blousy and boxy further down. I wish that the waste was more stretchy or adjustable. Stretchy everywhere but there just don't do me any good. Anyway as far as the shorts they are really cute. I ordered the teal pattern and it is super cute. I wish I could get a good fit.

I bought a size 8. I'm 5'6, 145 lbs and usually wear a size 7 in juniors. They fit me perfectly. They are a perfect length, not too short and not too long. I was hesitate on the price but I'm glad I bought them. I would purchase another pair if they had another color that I like.

Love the elastic waistband! I wear a size 8 and ordered the same size as I would for the velcro/drawstring Maui Rippers; this pair is roomier but not baggy. Great material, nice stitching, and comfortable. I measured my waist and ordered according to the size chart, but too big. But with overlapping Velcro and max tightness on drawstring, they fit well enough.

These are great shorts. They are super comfortable. I have 2 pairs and am waiting for my size to come in and will order another. I use these for the gym to work out in , and they have a Velcro pocket on the side which is very convenient.

I do like them. They are more comfortable than reg swim shorts for a girl with big hips. I did take them in a little in the waist because my waist is small. Also needs to have a liner or wear with spandex.
