I just received these pants and tried them on before washing. As long as I like them. They are made of 65% cotton and 35% polyester, which makes them slightly thicker and warmer. Not bad for me as I wasn't looking for particularly thin summer pants. The waist of the pants comes down to the belly button, but that's not a problem for me. The crotch hangs an inch or two. I really wanted to love these pants. Fits perfectly! I have size 2 in other brands and size 2 fits perfectly. There is an elastic band at the waist so you don't mess with the belt. The bags are phenomenal! There are so many of them and they are deep enough for a phone and gear. The ankle strap can be loosened to fit over the top of your hiking boots.
