Women'S Down Jacket Winter Parka Coat With Raccoon Fur Hooded - Escalier Review

I ordered this coat at the last minute for a trip to Minneapolis. It is well made but I did not find it to be exceptionally warm. If you have the hood on, scarf around neck, and zipped all the way up, it works pretty well. It did not keep out the wind as much as I was expecting. Its cute but it looks just like all the other coats the women were wearing. One thing that would be better would be to have a couple of more snaps for the faux fur to attach better with no gaps. The fur and lining of this coat making it incredibly cozy! The natural fur has beautiful color variation. The pockets are sewn at an angle, so it's comfortable to stand with your hands in your pockets. The ultra soft pocket lining was a pleasant surprise! I'm 5'7", 130 lbs, 34B, and the jacket has an excellent slim fit. It's not as bulky as other coats, but still impressively warm for Minnesota winter.If you have green eyes, you're gonna love the green coat!

The jacket is a bit snug at the hip and up near the neck. I was going to return but I loosened the snaps at the hood. Made the difference. Prefer the fur around hood rather than faux in other jackets which clumped.

I absolutely love the quality of the coat.but have to send it back as its too small. :( BUY AN EXTRA SIZE TOO BIG! I read that it was 'resized' for American women, but it does not fit this 'averaged size' one. Sleeves are tight as well. Love the longer sleeve on it, I'm only 5'4", so will fit those taller very easily. I will try to get a larger size if they have one. I love this coat. Good luck!

Had to return as I was very disappointed with the fur trim on the hood - the jacket was great but not sure if the fur was real as it looked nothing like the image on the website.

I think it is a lovely coat, it feels like it will be very warm. It was a little flattened from being shipped but I have it hanging so I think it will puff out more after a bit and also when I get the chance to wear it. The fur around the hood also needs to fluff out a bit. Overall, so far, seems to have been a good buy.

It appears to be a okay quality coat, but Product description says 650 Down fill, but tag says 100% polyester fill. Since, it is not that cold out I dont know if it could stand the cold weather test as of yet, so I will be returning for a warmer fill coat. Size is a tad bit awkward, might want to order a size down, depending on the bulk of your clothing. But if you have big thighs and hips you should stay true to your size.

I was looking for a warm winter jacket with real fur and not too heavy - I can't understand the recent trend of Canada Goose-like jackets that weight a ton! I also prefer the flexibility of a detachable hood. This coat fits the bill, and for the 90% down filling, the bill wasn't too high. I worn it in 13-17 degrees windy weather and it kept me warm! I am not a big fan of the bib; the knit cuffs inside the sleeves are a nice feature but I thought they were too long. Those are small things…

Too small otherwise good. S lot of trouble and hassle to return. No UPS close to me. No printer.Still haven't figured it out.

Very well made . Was in snow 25 degree weather kept me warm ! I wear an xxl and ordered the xl. Fit perfect . The hood is great the fur I real and a good piece . I wore it in rain kept me dry ! It’s a well made jacket .
