Review on Women'S Down Jacket Winter Parka Coat With Raccoon Fur Hooded - Escalier by Brianne Young

I was looking for a warm winter jacket with real fur and not too heavy - I can't understand the recent trend of Canada Goose-like jackets that weight a ton! I also prefer the flexibility of a detachable hood. This coat fits the bill, and for the 90% down filling, the bill wasn't too high. I worn it in 13-17 degrees windy weather and it kept me warm! I am not a big fan of the bib; the knit cuffs inside the sleeves are a nice feature but I thought they were too long. Those are small things though; the coat is well made, the hood fits very nicely and the fur looks nice - although there is considerably less of it than in the picture. I did noticed, as other reviewers pointed out, that the label says 90% down, 10% feather, 100% polyester, which is confusing but the down's smell is very strong and the coat is so warm that the 100% polyester was referring to something other than filling.The confusing part for me was that beige, green, and size 2 of the black are totally different coats, both in style and filling; I wish it was listed as a separate item so the reviews were about one style, not both (the zipper issue applies to that other coat, not the black 90% down one). Other than that, I am enjoying my jacket and would recommend it to those who wants to stay warm!
