I'm not very happy with it. The color is not the same as in the picture. I have a light base color comb, not the pretty dark comb in the picture. It came in a package showing it was made in China (mass production?). Now I'm going to sniff it to see if I think it's sandalwood. I just wish it was darker. I really hope it's sandalwood. A good comb though. The color difference confuses me a little.

I recently got balayage and my hair is a bit dry as a result. I didn't want to risk breakage with the regular brush I used on my undyed hair so I bought this wooden comb. It works great, disperses the oils well on the scalp and is gentle on my hair. Bonus points because I think it's vintage in a good way and makes combing your hair more comfortable. I would definitely recommend this comb to a friend.

Love this comb! I seem to have received 2 of these in a package when I ordered them (it's been over a year so can't remember exactly how many I got). I use it to brush my hair after shower, I use it to detangle dry hair, I just use it all the time. It works better than a brush and is very gentle on hair (less breakage). Have been using it for over 2 years and still great quality. It really improves my hair's frizz. PS If like me you are thinking of buying one of the larger combs but are concerned that they will be heavy, bulky etc, don't! I recently got a large comb with a handle and it was an extra $5. Going back to smaller ones (which is still great!) Feels awkward compared to a good pen. Both styles work well to be honest and this one is great for travel. I just put it in my backpack.

I bought this for my purse and another one with a thinner handle and I was blown away! I have very thin hair down to my butt and figured wooden combs probably wouldn't work for me, but based on all the reviews I decided to give them a try.
