Very well built! best toy for early development and activity

My 22 month old son is obsessed with this toy dog. We've had it for about 2 months now and he still carries it with him to the shops and on every date. I personally love it. I think he's well built, absolutely adorable and easy to play with. My son was frustrated at first that the dog would turn over if he tried to pull the dog too hard, but eventually he figured it out (age issue) and was just pushing with his hand most of the time.

Great design!: Baby toy

Super cute toy! I love it. The rear wheels are intentionally wobbly, causing the dog to wiggle its rear end and wag its tail as it rolls on the ground. It's cute in person and the design is very impressive. This is a simple wooden toy but the design is really nice allowing the dog to run and sit up using his hind legs - love how the ears slide forward when the head is down making it look like he's crouching Sniffing the ground, but then scooting back when the head is down. he looks up. Just…

Not just for little kids great toy well built fun to look at

So I told my wife I have an old school wooden dog on a rope when I laughed thinking what I was doing is our son 18 months old but big and smart as a 3 year old i thought he would never walk with this thing! I was wrong and it was the cutest thing I've ever seen my beast walking his wooden pup. We have big pit bulls that he loves and rough homes but this pup made him happy and he walked him for most of Christmas morning. even got me to treat his new pup to a dog, the pup moves great, the ropes…

Dirty price but good German quality

Okay I don't have any kids or grandkids but I was inspired to buy this wooden toy for a neighbor kid who dropped their identical version of this toy in our fenced yard so our Golden Retrievers could have fun enjoy their own valuable possessions. and they quickly chewed it in front of her. I think the nanny didn't watch her closely enough and waited with her for over half an hour to make sure we knew what happened and to let us know our dogs chewed it up and swallowed some of it. Buy a…

  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Everyone in my family loves this running pup with a wagging tail! I bought a Hape Walk-a-long Puppy for my 1 year old son's birthday thinking his two older sisters wouldn't want to play with this "toddler toy". I usually like to buy versatile toys that grow well and that all three children like. I also try to stay away from battery powered toys because there are many reasons - endless $$$, inevitable drama when batteries die, annoying accidents, acid corrosion of batteries, can't leave them…
