These were good wooden letters (not solid wood like good plywood), ready to use. I've even drilled holes in them and they haven't cracked or have any problems. However, a few letters were missing, and there were specially fewer used letters.

This wooden letter set was excellent in packaging, quality and appearance. I was able to lightly paint these letters with acrylic paint to make a great sign with easy to read text. None of the letters were chipped/chipped and there were no deviations from the grain of the wood. I'm grateful to have found this product and I highly recommend this set!

There is a warning label on the packaging stating that these letters contain formaldehyde. I was hoping that some wood would just be... well... wood. These are tiny, very thin letters, so you'd think they might be made out of solid wood scraps or something. But no. They must have a toxic glue that releases formaldehyde. Don't be fooled - it's just cheap, toxic crap made in China. I returned them.

I used them to write sentences in my sons and daughters' rooms. The quality was good enough for my use. Some of the letters were broken but luckily I was able to use the other side for the ones I needed. I like how it looks at the end. If used in a way that involves frequent handling, they may not last very long and may break. Although I may have just come across a batch with flaws.

My family, my three year old daughter, my wife and I have been making art lately. My daughter loves to draw and is learning to spell so this is perfect to keep her interested and learning. I'm not entirely sure how I ended up ordering three sets, but you'll still need more than four letters. The set contains the same number of letters. That way, you'll immediately run out of the most used letters and have a full set of those that aren't left. I bought 3 sets so now I have enough J, Q, W and Z to start my own business. Unfortunately I ran out of the letters "E", "F", "I", "H" and "R" and I have a "L", one "O" left " " and two "C" so that I can hardly write anything, although there are still as many letters left as 2 complete sentences. These letters come in a split tray with a plastic cover. The lid just sits there, but it's something. The tablet measures approximately 15.75" x 7" x 0.625". The letters are 1/16" thick, just under 2" tall and range from 5/16" (I) to 1 13/16" " (W). I'm attaching a picture of a few letters. I received a completely different font than the one shown in the pictures. I specifically selected this item for the font shown. I was very disappointed when I opened the package to find something else. They said they are in the process of updating their photo but that was a few weeks ago and it's still the same picture. I cannot use them for their intended purpose. I needed rounded edges, not blunt, sharp ones. This may sound dramatic, but if I want to use them, I have to round them off myself
