Dumb design flaw hurts this bag!

At this price point and size, I'm always amazed how a company can get close to an ideal and then do something so paramountly stupid! So here we have a bag that's certainly on the large side and it can easily accommodate two cameras, lenses and flashes and all of the little accessories you might need, but probably won't. It's well made and pretty nice looking in the green color. So what's the silly mistake they made? The bag isn't exactly deep enough to deal with cameras with a battery grip or a…

Pros
  • High quality product and reliable material
Cons
  • Zippers can be prone to sticking or breaking

Tough construction, holds a lot of gear.

I've had this bag for over a year now, and I like it a lot. It can be stuffed under an airline seat, and in a standard overhead compartment. It will carry one or two bodies, several lenses, a whole bunch of miscellaneous stuff, and your raincoat, too. The strap design allows the bag to swing around to access the camera compartment, but to do so, the straps tend to be a bit wide. For a guy with big shoulders, this will work, but they tend to feel as if they are falling off if the sternum strap…

Does its job - my new review

I like this but it is bulky and not that easy to work with. However, it holds my D850 and 200-500 with ease! I use it all the time. I know it’s hard because it has to be to support the camera and lenses. I just wish it had more give in places. Overall,I’m pleased. Carries well on my back.

Pros
  • The Woodland MindShift 26L Daypack Backpack is incredibly durable, making it perfect for any outdoor adventure
Cons
  • Not suitable for carrying large or heavy objects

Works as described. Great quality.

Took on 2 week Utah trip. Beat the crap out of it every day. Zippers, stitching and buckles all worked great.I had to lay the zoom lenses down. So 3 lenses, body and all the other stuff you hike out with for a photo shoot. Held water and rain cover for bag.Happy with purchase even though it seemed pricey at the time.

Pros
  • The Woodland MindShift 26L Daypack features multiple attachment points for accessories, allowing you to customize your gear
Cons
  • May not be suitable for users with back problems

The best "large " camera bag out there.

This bag is on the larger side, but it's comfortable and VERY well made. Almost everything I own fits in it. I have seen almost every camera bag, and this has to be the best quality bag I've ever seen.I own two bags. If I need more gear, this is the bag I grab. If I'm only taking 1 camera and 2 lenses, I take my smaller bag.I can fit the following:Sony A7R3 + 24-70 G MasterSony A6500 + 3 lenses2 Aputure Amaran lightsMisc accessories

Pros
  • With its sturdy construction and ample storage space, the Woodland MindShift 26L Daypack is an investment that will last you for years to come
Cons
  • May not be suitable for users with heavy camera or equipment needs

Love this awesome bag

I love, love love this bag! I packed it so full that I struggled to carry it by the handle. However, when I put it on my back an used my waist straps and chest straps. I barely felt it.

Pros
  • The backpack’s padded straps and back offer excellent support, keeping you comfortable under heavy loads
Cons
  • Limited organization options inside the pack

If You Fly & Hike, Get This Bag - UPDATED 8/29/19

I purchased this backpack for a recent trip to Arizona. I wanted a pack that was small enough to be my airline carry on while holding all the gear for my trip. The 26 liter size in the Backlight series fit the bill.Dimensionally the 26l qualifies as a carry on for most flights, but be aware that on some short-hop or commuter flights they may force you to gate check all bags. Technically this bag should fit under the seat ahead of you, but not if you want some place to put your feet during the…

Pros
  • The MindShift 26L Daypack is lightweight, making it easy to carry even when fully loaded
Cons
  • May not be suitable for taller or larger-framed individuals

Good quality camera backpack

This backpack holds my Canon 90D with Sigma 150-600mm lens, and Canon 6D mkII with Canon 24-70mm 2.8L lens, with room for another lens and/or accessories. Pack is comfortable to carry, good quality, and what I like most about it is that the pack can be swung around to the front to access equipment without taking it off. So far I have not had any issues with this pack. It carries most of my equipment, and makes for a good grab and go pack.

Pros
  • The backpack is made from high-quality materials, making it weather-resistant and able to withstand wear and tear
Cons
  • No external attachment points for trekking poles or other gear

Camera bag that doesn’t look like a camera bag

Ok I was skeptical when purchasing this bag. I wanted a bag that I could carry all my equipment in. I spent several hundred on a another bag . I especially liked this bag because it doesn’t look like a camera bag and has space for additional items other than camera gear. So far I’m impressed with it. I candy carry 1 camera body, Sigma 150-600, Cannon 70-200, a couple of small lens, tripod or monopod. I have space for 6 batteries, so cards. I can also on the front part keep a rain coat, snacks…

Pros
  • The backpack features multiple compartments, ensuring that your gear is organized and easily accessible
Cons
  • Can be uncomfortable when worn for extended periods of time

Overall great bag: my feedback

Mindshift gear is the best, this is my second bag, first backpack though, and I'm not disappointed. This is one of their bigger bags and I can fit all my gear in it. The interior of the bag can be modified to fit just about any lens, body, or strobe you want to carry. Fits a 15" laptop or 10" tablet easily, the front pockets can hold all sorts of smaller goodies. Got a tripod? You can carry that too, even a larger size one with the tripod pocket that pops out of the front bottom of the bag. The

Pros
  • The backpack’s water-resistant coating keeps your gear dry in wet conditions
Cons
  • Not recommended for carrying fragile items

I fit a 17 " Laport - sort of

My laptop is a 17" LG Gram. It is exceptionally thin, but the width is about 10.25". I bought this bag locally and haven't had time to do much with it, but I want to report that the laptop did fit in, which is to say the 10.25 dimension made it into the spot comfortably with the screen toward the center of the pack. BUT, being a 17" laptop the last half inch extends OUT of the protective space. The zipper will close, but that edge of the laptop, especially the corners, is more vulnerable than I

Pros
  • The backpack is versatile, making it perfect for a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, and climbing
Cons
  • May not be appropriate for more formal or professional settings

Love this backpack: my feedback

Love this backpack. Best camera bag I've used so far. Super comfortable with lots of room for all of my gear and accessories. I was surprised how much I could fit in this bag. Even with all the space it doesn't stick out from your sides so it works great for hiking in the bush.

Pros
  • The backpack is designed to distribute weight evenly and prevent strain on your back and shoulders
Cons
  • May not be comfortable for users who sweat heavily

Really good backpack.

This is my favorite backpack yet. I like the build quality and the color and the size is perfect for my camera gear. It should also fit in overhead bins on airlines. The only issue anyone should ever have with this backpack is that Mindshift gear can't keep them in stock and they are overpriced. They really should be half the cost. But I liked the color enough that I bit the bullet and paid full retail.

Pros
  • Bags & Cases
Cons
  • May not fit taller individuals comfortably

When I am traveling, this the bag that I take

I've been traveling with this bag for almost two years now carrying my two Fujifilm systems. It could carry two bodies and 4/5 lenses and small enough to be carried as personal item bag.I used to carry Peak Design daily backpack, but it doesn't have the waist harness that offsets your weight to waist. basically Peak Design damaged my shoulder. since then camera backpack with a waist belt is a MUST. I find this bag to be quite ergonomic and comfortable to carry. When I am traveling light, this…

Pros
