Good - not disappointed.

Just what I needed for my project (cutting styrofoam sheet for garage door insulation). Easy to use, no fuss, no fuss. Would have given five stars but the packaging was missing the small pin shown in the packaging photo and the guide (the black square plastic piece shown in the photo) had to be tweaked frequently. Even if it had to be tightened, it worked as intended. Manufacturer's Suggestion: Place some calibration marks (inches/mm) on the arc to speed up the depth of cut setting.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

Great cutting tool

We bought large sheets of 4x8x1 styrofoam from a hardware store. This tool cut right through him. Used it to make a large world map cutout for a church hall wall. This cuts through the foam leaving a nice smooth edge that a jigsaw just can't do. some great styrofoam art. If you google it you will see what some very talented people have created using this and similar tools. drawn outline. With a U-shape it doesn't go too deep.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • thin

Works like a champ!

This thing cuts Styrofoam like a hot knife! Keep in mind that the extension is designed to cut through larger objects, but it won't cut through them at the same speed that a smaller nozzle will cut through thinner foam. You need to go slow or you will have trouble if the wire gets stuck in the material you are trying to cut. Just a note: it looks like it's intended for cutting styrofoam intended for use in a model railway or playground. . It will actually cut through other types of styrofoam…

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
