Big! Except for two design flaws

I have two of these units in my room. One for the lamp and one for the fan. This is very convenient, especially when your hands are busy. However, I would make two changes to the design if I could: 1) The tap changer is very close to the output end, not the end that connects to the device, which can be inconvenient. I want the switch to be next to the lamp, not on the wall a few feet away. 2) The step switch lights up, but unfortunately only when it is switched on. So when my lamp is on, the…

Not just for Christmas trees!

Bought because the lamp is on the side of the bed and I have to push it sideways to turn it off. But not anymore! This product works well. My only issue is I thought the "footswitch" was at the end of the 15ft cord, but it isn't. It's about 1/3 the length of the cord and has a male connector on the end. So if you want to turn off the lamp and connect something to the end, they all work together. It's not entirely clear why they didn't hit the gas pedal in the end. So you can plug it into the…

I wish I could return this. You can only use it 90 days a year before it becomes a fire hazard

I bought this device for use in my home and have used it for several months. Works well, the cable is long. I want the little light on the switch to be on all the time so I can easily see where the switch is when the light is off. Fire if I use this product more than 90 days a year and can only use it at a maximum current of 5 amps (13 amps are listed on the outer packaging). I knew it was "easy work" but it's funny. No longer works best in electrical

Tap changer was fine. I bought it for our children's room so that we can conveniently switch the reading light on and off. I didn't read the disclaimer in the box (and only now read it in reviews) that it only had 90 days to use. Although it worked longer in my daughter's room, it stopped working after about a year. I have no idea why the power strip can't be made a little more reliable and electrically safe. Now I'm a bit scared it might have started a fire. Other issues I had with it was that
