Woolrich Check Quilt Mini King Review

We love this duvet! We prefer duvets for our bedding and have been looking for a slightly heavier duvet with a rustic look for the fall/winter months and this duvet works great. It's very warm and comfortable in it. I love Woolrich products and they are well made. The picture is almost identical to the actual product.

We ordered a new bedroom set and needed a new comforter as we were changing from queen to king. I liked the look but was hesitant to order it after reading some of the reviews. After many hours of searching the internet I just decided to do this and am very glad I did. The colors are the same as in the picture and not dark. It's also soft to the touch.

This was a Christmas present for my daughter and when she first put it on the bed it was perfect. However, after a single wash, we noticed this. There are small razor cuts on the bedspread. The duvet was washable individually and in a front-loading washing machine. I am very disappointed as it was a beautiful blanket. My daughter also says it's very warm, although light.

My wife and I have spent hours and miles looking for a new blanket. Color, texture, pattern and style were more important than price. We couldn't find anything that we both liked. She didn't want to hear about online ordering until she was frustrated by the lack of choice. I showed her a photo of this set. The price was right. I would call it a bedspread rather than a quilt. It is very large and hangs almost to the ground. My bed is very high off the floor, I can't imagine that with one of the new low beds. It is very well made, but very heavy and unbearably warm. I'm not a fan of bedspreads, they are very dated. Love the layered bed that has options depending on the weather. Pros: Great blanket that completely covers my double bed (see photo). Pretty soft and relatively light. It seems breathable and not too warm even when sitting on a memory foam mattress! Washable in cold (tap) water and on minimum drying mode. Follow use and care labels carefully. Third Woolrich product I have purchased. Ok so I wanted a new bedding set with a Christmas theme as my old one was worn out. I love red plaids and found this. It's huge for the price. It's hard to find king size duvets that actually cover 2 people. The material is comfortable and durable. I have an old set of Woolrich Christmas blankets which I have used and washed every year for the last 20 years so I was already aware of the quality of the brand. This set is made to the same standards as my 20 year old set. This is a thinner blanket, more of a blanket than what I would call a blanket.
