Difficult to work with

The problem with this paper cutter is that you have to align the paper by eye. The black area is not large enough to place the paper accurately and securely. You then need to hold TWO things as you cut - the clear plastic bar that you slide the paper under (to hold the paper in place) and the cutter as you slide it across the paper. Because the black area with the printed dimensions is too small to accurately place the sheet of paper, and because the paper slides easily (until you start pushing

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Three cuts = blunt blade; Also other questions

See attached photo in this review. Here's what I have after THREE PASSES with the cutter (more like "nibble!"). Also, the accuracy of this thing is terrible. If you want to cut something straight along the line, good luck getting THAT straight - I've never found a happy medium to accomplish this; Also, I noticed that each pass of the cutter/nibble ended in a bend (away from the edge of the paper) about halfway down. I could get a lot better with scissors, but since the purpose of a cutter is to

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No machine gun

Great for school work

Great for my school desk. I'm always cutting paper and laminating things for students and don't always want to use a heavy duty cutter. This is perfect for my little squares and strips of paper. I wish it was a little easier to get the paper perfectly straight, but I usually press it against the edge, look for shadow marks and where the line meets the paper, and sometimes make a small dot and place the blade part right over it. That. I also do a "dry run" by moving the blade all the way without

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
