Adjustable CB Radio Mounting Bracket for Workman C-526: 5 to 8-5/8 Wide with Quick Release Review

The bracket material is quite thick so existing thumbscrews may be too short to screw into the switch body. Otherwise it seems to work quite well.

This bracket is needed to remove the circuit breaker when not needed or to deter car break-ins or theft. Simply disconnect the antenna and power cord and loosen the mounting knobs. The entire process takes less than a minute. To reinstall, simply reverse the process.

The parts of the bracket (L-shaped) where the quick connect/disconnect radio brackets are the same and face the opposite direction makes them useless because they can't do either of the L-shaped end pieces can be reversed to correct the problem. It is assumed that there are LEFT and RIGHT end pieces connected through the center slotted portion of the bracket using the carriage bolts provided. The parts of the bracket (L-shaped) that the radio attaches to for quick connect/disconnect are the same and point in the opposite direction, making it due not functional after use as none of the end L-pieces can be flipped to fix the problem.
