    Seems to work: Portable A/V

Not sure how effective it is but it seems to work and the power is transferred efficiently. I've ridden even more than the spec says and so far it's working great.

Waste of money for portable audio and video

Doesn't work, hooked up to my Bearcat 980. I turned on the wipers but they were still making noise. The only way to fix this is to power the truck directly. battery and do not use underwear

Does what it's supposed to do

I had a noise problem with my CB that obviously came from the power supply. After installation, I can now turn up the gain and squelch without annoying hum. It was also very easy to install.

This works for my specific situation

This worked well to get rid of the noise coming from my switching power supply in my HF radio. I can hear stations I couldn't get to before and now I know they could hear me, but I couldn't hear them due to interference from the power supply in my receiver.

Waste of time: fixed CB radios

Used this to try and reduce the noise from the wiper blades and static from the light poles in my 2019 Volvo Day Cab trailer. Useless! I'd like to open the thing and see if there's anything in there. Installed it in the company store, so no errors. I use it with my Uniden Bearcat 880 ssb.

    • Not bad

It worked for me - CB & radios

This noise filter did an excellent job of eliminating engine or alternator noise on the Uniden 510 CB. The noise I got was only with the engine running and unplugging the antenna made no difference. I installed this built-in according to the instructions and the noise is gone. Money well invested in my book 👍👍👍

The noise in the cheaply bought car radio was so bad that I came.

Reduced generator hum, but not completely. The noise was so bad on a cheap car stereo that I ended up dropping the thing and buying a more expensive stereo and now I have no noise issues. So I'm not sure how fair I am with the estimate because it reduced the noise but didn't completely eliminate it.

That worked fine for a week.

I installed a CB in a '79 Bronco with a 102" pin. I took the time to properly install the radio and antenna and used good quality coax cable. I also grounded everything, but there was still a whine from the generator, excessive static. Every time I raised/lowered the power tailgate window, I heard a very loud howl through the CB speaker. It is almost 100% better after installing Bandit noise filter. no, when I use the back glass it's much better now. I really didn't expect it to work that well,

    Pros
    • Easy Install
    Cons
    • I vaguely remember
