Woman bought locally to get what she needed. I figured she was going to empty the bank the way she intended, so I started searching. Found this a lot cheaper, bought 3 reels assuming it will keep them going for a while. Save $$$, save time and travel. What's not to like?

Stabilizer too soft and thin to cut. This will loosen the fabric in the hoop, causing holes and broken threads, and layers won't help either. I have been embroidering for 11 years now and I can honestly tell you that I have used doilies with much better results. This is number 3 at the bottom of the picture, one of the holes appeared there.

I am new to embroidery and only do this for my family. I'm wondering if anyone who bought this and liked it actually washed the clothes they made? After repeated washing, the fleece comes off when sewing (applying). As I said, I'm new and still learning where to use which stabilizer. But I'd be pissed if I paid someone for a design and after a few washes the back would be a mess. Works fine for my projects.
