Ideal for melting crème brûlée sugar as the container stays upright. Solves the problem of extinguishing the flame when the tank capsizes. An alternative solution was to buy a new burner with a built-in automatic regulator (about $35) that prevents liquid propane from putting out the flame when the tank is tipped.

I bought this with a Victor STK-11 turbo burner and it was a worthwhile investment. Allowed me to get into better, tighter spots with the turbo cutter tip. Saving time, spitting, swearing, etc. The bottle rack is also a nice feature. Create more freedom to work, which saves you a lot of time and nerves. Excellent goods.
