Too hard for any cafe style bike. If they were fitted to Harleys or larger bikes over 500-600 pounds they might be properly tuned. My bike is probably over 200 and I weigh about 180 pounds and it's basically a hardtail. In addition, the anodized color is completely different from the picture.

I installed them on a 1977 Yamaha XT500. not just for looks. Make sure you get the right color. They have a much better build quality than the other pair I had on my bike, no sloppy welds on the eyes or anything, the build quality seems good.
