Definitely not strong enough to sail the Boise River. Took 10 minutes. This would be the ideal snorkel for sea use. Don't attach anything to the side of the grommets, mine came right off the tube.

We broke our other float similar to this one by overloading, oops! So we bought this one hoping to have the same fun and it fit the bill! We uploaded people all day and it stuck there and it was a lot of fun! Buy it!

I purchased this item to take to Shell Island near Panama City Beach, Florida and it far exceeded my expectations! I bought this raft last summer on July 4th. I've used it a few times during the season - static in the lake. It's really a lot of fun. Coolers are great things. We also use them for dry storage. Pros: Easy to pump with a double acting flow pump - takes me about 15 minutes alone. That's convenient. It is easy to move around in the water. I have used this tube 3-4 times on river slides and I love it. It fits 8 people great, and the two coolers are a nice feature because they're submerged, although they tend to get water in (swimmers carry water in). Not too much but if you plan on putting stuff in that you want to dry I would recommend the 'Dry Bag' that you get for kayaking/boating so your stuff is dry when you're done with the float .
