The item was delivered four days early. That was great. The part itself is a single piece of cast composite, strong enough to get the job done when it happens occasionally, but not strong enough if you intend to use it constantly. However, I think it's a good deal for the money. You can use the tool better if you put your hand on the tool while rotating.

I bought this tool thinking it would work with kegs and gas. My gas protrusion is thicker than what this tool is designed for. I was also disappointed that the 4 spurs weren't better adjusted for the caps. It is necessary to actively push the head down so that it does not break. Do not get me wrong. The tool serves its purpose. My gas valve may be different from yours and you may be fine with a tool carelessly slipping down the cap hole.

We use many 55 gallon plastic kegs with 2 inch NPT threads and buttress threaded plugs on top. We also go through many 275 gallon IBC containers that have a 2" plug in a 6" top cap. As a result, we always lose our nice metal keys or leave them across town. Or they were stolen by raccoons.
