I didn't think I would keep it because I thought it would be difficult to lace. The cable was really soft. The only downside was that when trimmed, the ends frayed. You will need duct tape to tie the ends, then use Fray Check or another product for the ends.

I use this 1/8 inch lace cord to make edging for clothing. When sewn into the 1.5" bias strips, it creates a nice thin edge with a 5/8" seam allowance. Align the edge of the seam allowance with the edge of the fabric and adjust with the piping foot. This is an easy way to add sparkle to a handcrafted item. I particularly like this cable because it's flexible and effortlessly wraps around corners.
