Wrights Drawstring Cord 4 Inch White Sewing Review

Perfect for jogging pants with frayed drawstrings. My husband and I both use it as a backup. Sturdy enough for a lanyard. Some that look similar but are softer I think just for sewing projects.

I've lost a lot of weight and hate changing out of my designer clothes that I've spent a fortune on. As for the pants, some of them can be saved by adding a drawstring on the inside of the waist. I tighten the drawstring and throw on a shirt or sweater and I'm good to go. The cable comes in a 12 yard ball well wrapped with clips to keep the cable from unraveling. The cable is of good quality and easy to use. I bought the 1/4" and 1/8" sizes and both sizes fit me perfectly.

So far it has worked as predicted by positive reviews. The lack of shrinkage is very welcome - the last material I used shrunk badly and became unusable. The string holds up well and is a great replacement for the lace-like waist laces found in a number of newer tennis shorts. (The predecessor was very prone to slipping, so I had to constantly readjust the tension while playing - a total nuisance!)
