Non-slip pads and the weight of the Echo add stability to the stand. It didn't affect the Echo's responsiveness, and it gave me peace of mind that the Echo was finally cat, lump, and vacuum proof. 420 fits.

Bought this stand when I received the Echo as a Christmas present for my wife in October. I can finally see it as we finally opened it up and used it. The stand was packaged well and looked great out of the box. It complements Echo. Makes it even better than it's already dosed. As for the mind? Echo will not tip over or bang when this stand is in place. It is necessary. And worth the price. Great job, Wasserstein.

Due to the fact that I found my Alexa on the floor several times because the pets were so well behaved during my absence, yuk yuk I have I may not be the only person doing this and looking for a solution to the problem.
