These magic garlands are easy to hang, quite long and are working well so far. Hang them up in my daughter's dorm - they're super cute and the many lighting options are fun. Gave 1 to 3 other roommates to have them all over their beds. Would definitely buy again!

Lights are a good decorative element. However, the remote control is very patchy. In most cases you have to be in the direct light for it to work. Others may even require you to use a manual switch. The inclusion of the remote control is striking. Sometimes it runs at about 8ft to turn on, maybe to toggle settings, but not to turn off. then disappointment again.

I have four strands. The first one I put batteries in didn't work. So I put batteries in three others to test and they all worked. By the time I came back with the second set it stopped working. While trying to get 2 sets to work, one of the working ones started smelling burnt. Husband said it smelled like burnt chain. An hour has passed and I can still smell it. I cannot recommend these lamps.

I've done 8 projects so far with these lights and they've all worked great. I haven't actually submerged the battery in water, but it closes very tightly, so it's probably pretty waterproof.
