I would give zero stars if I could. This leads to visual and acoustic distortions. The screen has different colors, like a rainbow going across the screen, and the audio pauses randomly for a second or three.

I had an old game console from the 90's and wanted to connect it to our new Samsung Smart TV. I was hesitant to buy it, but ordered it anyway. Once he connected he felt relieved and started playing every day! The picture quality wasn't very good, but honestly I wasn't expecting 720p/1080p either. This works for me as long as it's playing on the TV with minimum picture quality!

Most people who reviewed it probably used it once, it worked and they gave it 5 stars. After about 48 hours I lost the sound. I didn't even touch it. I just turned on my PS2 during the day and there is no sound. I tried using a new AV cable but that didn't fix the problem and both AV cables worked great with the TV. Do not buy this product.

Plug and Play, works right out of the box. Converts analog composite video input signal (yellow RCA connector) to digital output via HDMI. The device does not overheat even after several hours of continuous operation. My standard definition DVDs showed a very clean picture on my new 24 inch HDMI monitor.
