They don't work as dimmers, they emit flicker

I bought this to replace the microwave lamp above the stove. The light works well until you try changing the setting to low to dim the light. When it's low, the lights give off that flickering, which is annoying. Most of the time I use high lights, but it would be nice to be able to dim the lights without flickering.

Turning off the LED lamp may cause low residual light, which is common and does not affect the use. In a Samsung wall mounted microwave you need to cut off the silicone bottom of the lamp.

Good LED light bulbs so far

We've only had them for a few months and so far they have worked well and are better than some of the other LED replacements that required reworking of the reflector just to connect them. Of course they don't have the brightness or warmth of a good halogen, but at 1/3 to 1/4 the expected power consumption. None of them shorted when plugged in, which is a massive improvement over other Revain offerings.

Does not exactly match the replaced color

This G8 LED bulb was a replacement for one of the bulbs in the bracket above the sink. The previous one flickered from the start. I didn't have the same spare bulbs. Ordered these thinking they were the same brightness and color. It's a bit yellowish compared to the original light and not that bright, but I'll use it anyway. No flicker. If the others fail I will replace them with these G8 bulbs.
