Very nice wine rack

I am very satisfied with this wine rack. Two round caps/nuts were missing from the box (I don't know the technical term) but my husband was able to easily find something in his tool box to replace them and they are against the wall so no problem. I want to say one thing. Unless you're disabled, the $78 cost of the "expert build" is ridiculous to me. I am 70 years old with no arts and crafts experience and was able to assemble this device in under 20 minutes. Don't waste money. So everyone said…

Very well designed and sexy looking

Great looking stand. Sturdy enough for 12 bottles. I like metal parts on the ends and semi-finished wood. The assembly requires some forethought. It is important to determine how to position the wood. Some parts have one side better than the other. Do not overtighten the bolts as this will remove the cap from the nut. Luckily there are a few extra nuts and bolts in the package. I put the rack on a granite counter and it slid like crazy. I glued little rubber pads on the legs and that held them…

Do not buy - wrong parts included

At first I thought I did something wrong the first time I assembled it but I wasn't. It is said to have three "large slots" to hold the wide end of the bottle and three "small slots" to hold the nose end of the wine bottle. There were only two small slots on one tier that no wine bottle could fit. They are for the nose end of the bottle only. If you look at my picture, the top layer has two small pieces on one layer, and the middle and bottom layers are correct with one small and one big. I…

Really nice wine rack

THIS is what you buy on the photo and hope. Well it's really nice in person. You do have to assemble it, but all you need is a Philips head and a small pair of pliers. the end result is atheistically appealing and robust. Love the way the three post latches and the fact that you can add more at the top but then you might have to secure it to keep it from tipping over. The only downside is the style of the front/back shelves. The bottle can fall through the middle if it breaks off the back brace

Great view for storing and displaying wine bottles.

I am very pleased with the overall rustic decorative look, size and reasonable price. When you buy something to assemble, sometimes there are issues with strength, missing parts, and build time. With the preserved wine rack, there was no such problem. After checking the parts, I assembled the rack with no problems. I double checked that all the screws were tight and then effortlessly placed 12 wine bottles on the shelf. I had to put a decorative non-slip mat under the counter because it slips…

NOT for large wine bottles!

Despite the opinion of some reviewers, this wine rack is NOT designed for 1.5 liter wine bottles! I bought this rack based on what some reviewers wrote and was sorely disappointed to find that the rack didn't fit my 1.5 liter bottles. This is quite an attractive shelf and fits typical 750ml wine bottles but is useless for those of us who buy large wine bottles. Instead of returning it I will give this shelf to a friend who buys small bottles of wine. It would be nice if wine rack manufacturers…

Great shelf but has reservations

I'll give you a caveat first: three levels is about as much as you want to stack them. I mention this because while you can mount two of these 12 bottle racks, they are not stable. Also, make sure the area you intend to place it in is level and completely level. Second: There were cracks in the tree. They were flimsy and I don't think they affect the structural integrity of the strut if you don't over tighten the bolts, but they are there. For the good: As you can see from the photo, mine…
