X-Doria Defense Lux IPhone X Case - Military Grade Drop Protection In Sleek Black Carbon Fiber Design Review

I've only used this product for a month and a half and it has already started to come apart. I really like the design and safety the case provides but this is extremely dissapointing considering the price of the case. I treat my phone/case really well but as you can see from the pictures it seems the plastic part is coming apart because the glue can't hold it together.

Case is durable and holds up well. People have complained about the case scratching their phones but to me that's more an issue with carelessness in getting the case to cover the phone. Super easy to take the phone out as well, and has held up after a few accidental drops.

I thought this was a great case. It worked, was slim, and although I didn’t like the way they warped the sound I enjoyed the case. About 3 months later it’s starting to fall apart. I’m so mad. The adhesive between the slim aluminum band and the rubber has fallen apart and now I have to order again. I’m not even that hard on my phone. I do not recommend

Been using for 3 months now with iPhone X. Excellent protection, does not add too much bulk. Looks good and fits phone perfect. Just enough case to protect and give peace of mind without being a brick in you pocket.

Unfortunately the cover started to fall apart along the sides of the phone. I bought it twice and both cases exhibited the same defect. Great looking product but construction and materials are suspect

After unboxing this case, I really like it. It is a very sturdy case and grips very well. I was very pleased with it until the sides started to separate. I took the case off of the phone and was able to fit it back together. But soon the Sides separated again. The description says one piece design. Not. Took the case of and went with another case.

I enjoyed the case overall, but I am unhappy with the quality of the case’s components. Overal, the case sleek yet sturdy, and has an elegant design. However, the outermost "bezel” of the case (which was grey on my product) seemed to be lightly glued onto the body - mine is beginning to peel off a month after purchasing, which makes me wary about the overall design of the case. I’ve emailed the company asking for a replacement, and I’ll update this when I hear back

This is a great case and fits my iPhone X perfectly. I especially like the holes at the bottom that direct the sound forward.

The looks of the case are superb and the build quality does feel solid. I love the look and feel of the weave on the back. Overall I like the case a lot but after owning it for just shy of two months the ring that goes around the back exterior is coming off. I was going to try to repair it with some super glue or something cause I do like the case, but I may move to a new case if the repair doesn’t work.

What a waste of time. The box says Iphone 8, The company says they didn't catch up to the production and that it is X compatable. But as one of the picture reviewers points out and I just verified there is only one opening for the speaker when the phone has 2. The left one will be muffled if you use this case. Now I have to go thru returning it based on deception by the company.

I had the x doria defense for my iPhone 6 and decided to order the same exact case for my iPhone xs. The case arrived today and looks/feels nothing like my old defense. Despite a similar appearance , the materials are much cheaper. The case now has plastic sides as opposed to the sturdy medal the defense used to have. I've used X-Doria's Defense Lux series since the iPhone 6/6+, and I've been very satisfied with the level of protection, design, and usability of the iPhone while in the case. This is my second case. The first fell apart within 6 months. The company replaced it with another but it fell apart in less then 3 months. I totally love the look and feel of it. Just wish it was as sturdy as i it’s advertised to be.

Today after two months the case completely separated at the connection between the surrounding rubber and the metal piece. Very aggravating.

The plastic edging came off of the hard case after a few months of light use. I love the style, but for almost $30 bucks, it’s not worth it. I got a much better case otter box "symmetry” for $17 on sale.

I purchased this item because I was looking for a rough and rugged phone case to protect my iPhone X as it's a $1000 phone.
