Review on X-Doria Defense Lux IPhone X Case - Military Grade Drop Protection In Sleek Black Carbon Fiber Design by Jason Wesley

Seller beware Military grade? Laughable. CHEAP grade.

I purchased this item because I was looking for a rough and rugged phone case to protect my iPhone X as it's a $1000 phone. So why not purchase a military grade case to protect such an expensive phone? My phone dropped off of a chair while in it's case, with a high grade screen protector, my screen not only cracked in 4 places, it actually chipped a large piece off of the corner. The phone dropped from a max of one and a half feet on to carpet. I picked up my phone and noticed the cracks/chip, I then proceeded to make a phone call and my screen light up green. I allowed my phone to sit for a while and then attempted to turn the screen back on. The screen did turn back on but was discolored. I woke up this morning hoping I'd at least be able to use the phone even with the discoloration but to no avail. When I attempt to turn on the screen it flashes green and then goes black. If this phone case is military grade I would venture a guess that a short fall on to carpet wouldn't cause so much damage. My replacement phone will be here today and I will be throwing out this $34 piece of junk that is as far from military grade as possible and purchasing an actual MILITARY grade cover. I also forgot to mention the fact that the case is glued together and falls apart easily. This company clearly slapped a military grade label on a product that isn’t even in the realm of military grade. All consumers beware and look for a better seller/"military” grade case.

Pros
  • Perfect fit, just what I was looking for in a case leaving the phone fully functional
Cons
  • May be difficult to remove or replace on the phone
