Linux Mint Plug and Play

I'm online with Linux Mint! The new ethernet/network card arrived today. Tested with basic yellow CAT-5e. Turn the device back on and it's online. Plug and play, you don't have to do anything. Closed the turret and reconnected the Black CAT-6 which was still running at full speed. I put the card in the lowest PCI-E slot. Hardware: ASUS TUF X470-Plus Gaming. 32GB (16GB x 2) RAM 3000 speed. Ryzen 7 2700. Graphics card - old GeForce GTX 750 Ti (enough until I put my 2080 in this PC. Graphics cards

the card is not in the PCIe slot

First, the card is not in the PCIe slot. It looks like the bracket is too thick! I tried several slots on my Lenovo desktop and after some effort I was able to insert the card. The card was not recognized by the operating system (Fedora 25). After a while the system shuts down (by itself) and won't boot up! I would not recommend this product!

I never got it to work

Intel hardware on my motherboard stopped working after the update. I couldn't figure out what happened, but after all THE MOTHERBOARD IS TEN YEARS OLD. So I bought this network card to plug into a PCIe slot. I plugged it in and started Linux Mint 19.3 OS. He installed the driver, but the board did not connect to the network. After two days of troubleshooting I sent it back to Revain (thanks Revain!) and bought the board with a Broadcom chip. It ignited right away.

Running on Debian server

Running on my Debian server for now, no config changes or anything. It looks like I have a dual port instead of a single port, I don't know what the difference is.
