Description of 🎧 Philips Audio Fidelio X2HR Over-Ear Open-Air Headphone with 50mm Drivers (Black) + NeeGo Attachable Microphone - Ideal for Gaming and Communication

Powerful 50mm neodymium drivers for wide yet precise range - Each speaker is carefully handpicked, tuned and tested, and is being paired for the most detailed natural sound. The 50mm drivers utilize high power neodymium magnets to reproduce all your music’s dynamics and deliver well balanced crisp bass, transparent mid-range and pristine high frequencies. Layered motion control diaphragm delivers precise sound - Layered Motion Control (LMC) drivers feature a multi-layered polymer diaphragm that encases a layer of damping gel. These layers form a flexible boundary and – together with the gel – absorbs and dampens any exaggerated frequencies, resulting in a smooth and flatter frequency response. The result is a more balanced, natural and refined range of high frequency sounds. High Resolution audio reproduces music in its purest form - Hi-Res Audio offers the best in audio performance, reproducing original studio master recordings more faithfully than 16bit/44.1kHz CD formats. This uncompromising quality makes Hi-Res Audio the best sound companion for the music lover. Fidelio headphones meet the stringent standards required for the Hi-Res Audio stamp of quality. Breathable velour cushions to help dispel pressure and heat - Crafting the Philips Fidelio X2HR starts with meticulously choosing each material for its functionality and ergonomic comfort. Deluxe memory foam ear-pads are matched with a velour material of optimized density with high breathability, to dissipate pressure and heat for longer-wearing comfort. Create Instant Microphone Headset - The NeeGo attachable boom mic fits into your favorite pair of headphones and instantly turns it into a professional gaming or communication headset. Enjoy clear, crisp, and smooth audio transmission with just a click-in.

Excellent headphones with excellent microphone

Excellent headphones. These are probably the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn and they sound amazing. They are open, so all the limitations that come with it (lack of isolation, a bit weak but good bass) apply. Check out the headphones-only list for more in-depth reviews. The mic is perfect for all day zooming on my computer which is what I use for her. Update: Connected to a Schiit Fulla 3 Gaming DAC/Amp (with matching TRRS to 2xTRS adapter) and the sound quality has changed. jump…

They're useless as long as they're sp9500

V-shaped headphones vary in taste. I personally don't really like it and I think it's overdone. Don't get me wrong these are good headphones but they are just overpriced IMHO. They are good for people who like V-shaped sound signatures and bassheads. The vocals aren't great, but that's to be expected. They're fine for gaming, but don't expect them to replace your headset if you buy one with a mic, as they're open and let 100% of the noise through, so no matter how good it is, your mic picks it…

These are headphones! NO HEADSET!

Please note these are sold as headphones and are intended to be used as headphones. This seller includes one of the cheapest microphones from a Chinese company, which is basically a headphone pass-through cable to connect a microphone to. These headphones were never designed for this type of use, and while they're comfortable headphones, the dual overhead straps are unsightly for conference calling unless you want to look like you're from Mars. All in all, if you're looking for great…

Strong clamping force

These headphones are really well made and will definitely last, except for the outer material of the ear cups. It really attracts everything it touches, I see it will eventually need to be replaced. Medium sound, mids are present but not prominent which I don't really like but it's a popular sound signature that I'm sure many people will enjoy. The bass is actually very pleasant, by no means exaggerated, but powerful and fast. One thing I really don't like is the force of the clamp, it's very…

Not bad, but the sound leaves something to be desired

Evaluating audio equipment is always difficult as it is very subjective. One's dirty junk is another's great bass response. So let me list what I'm comparing them to: 1. Apple AirPods (1st gen)2. Apple AirPods Pro3. Bowers and Wilkins P7 Wired Headphones These are my current/past "daily drivers" (pun intended), and while they're all different classes of headphones and in-ears, they form my foundation (I'll stop, I promise). the benchmark for how my music "should" sound. It's relatively neutral…

Great setup for gaming headphones On Xbox Series X

First of all I am very cynical and reticent when I read reviews on Amazon. It's annoying to delve deep into fake reviews. In my opinion. Sound - 9.5 out of 10 literally just a neutral soundstage with no adjustment sounds so good Comfort 8.5 out of 10 Velor earpads are really cushioning (I honestly thought it was a joke, but velor is better). For me, the clamping force is a little more than the comfort of the Sony 1000xm4/bose qc35ii, but it adjusts over time. Build quality 8.5 out of 10…

Amazing in almost every way! (Games included!)

The reviewers were right! And these did not disappoint! VERY comfortable ear pads as they are made of memory foam and covered with a velvety material. Handy for long listening or gaming sessions. Even though they are HUGE on my head, someone is 6ft 1in and weighs 155lbs, I have a smaller head and they almost look ridiculous on me haha! xDMusic: I'm by no means an audiophile, but I know good sound and they sound good. with a USB-C DAC plugged into the back of my PC, which helps a little, but…

Incredibly good headphones for the money!

**Update** Okay, I've been using the X2HR for almost a week and they still impress me. As other people have said, these are fun lounge headphones, not super analytical/detailed studio headphones, and I totally agree with the first part. Head-to-head comparison with the following headphones in a round robin comparison with the Fiio K5 Pro DAC/Amp: Sony MDR-CD1700s, Sony WH-1000XM4, Beyerdynamics DT 990 Pro (80 ohms) and Audio Technica M50X. I mostly listened to EDM and rock, with a bit of folk…
