This is exactly what I need. Great setup for my RV at all times, both while driving and during my stay. And then the receiver is sent into the car to be used in the car docking kit when I want it for short trips. I just can't imagine a day without my XM radio. Kits make it possible!

I bought this to replace my ExpressEZ XM radio. Onyx is much better. Looks good, easily connects to your home entertainment system, changes channels very quickly. The presence of 10 memory buttons is very convenient. I called XM and asked if it came with a remote control and they said no. However, a remote control is included. The remote gets a bit iffy at around 20 feet.

This radio with speakers is easy to use. I bought it to hear the Art Bell show. The phone number is displayed on the screen; The numbers and letters are large enough to be read from several meters away. As a bonus, I can now listen to several Latin American music stations. This little radio is small and I can easily carry it around. I am happy with this purchase (along with speakers).

This item probably saved my job. Ideal for drowning out annoying colleagues and industrial noise. It's difficult to separate this review from the XM Radio review in general. Arrived quickly. All components appear to be new. BUT it was in a freezer bag/ziplock bag/thing. No manual/instructions/warranty. So far it has worked perfectly with Bose home radio. The remote control is confusing. The top row's left, right, and middle buttons have no obvious function. Middle buttons - up, down and ok - no left/right buttons. I use this device to listen to music at night when I can't sleep. (from 3am to 6am) So my wife is not to be disturbed. This particular receiver seems defective to me as there is no way to reduce the gain below an uncomfortable level. With headphones on and the volume cranked up, it's truly deafening. Someone in the room could fire a gun and use the radio on the lowest volume to muffle the blast. My previous Sirius radio worked perfectly. The volume was fully adjustable.

Let's start with the good: the radio is of very good quality and works well. The seller sent the order the same day and it arrived very quickly. Bad: I wanted a radio with FM stations. The description said neither, so I was on my own to find out if that was the case or not. I've spent a lot of time figuring that out.
