works as described. Had to rewire the wiring harness on my 2001 Yamaha Warrior and used this tape to clean it up and make it look a little better.

The adhesive strength of this adhesive tape is approx. 1%. I bought this to make a wire harness and the material barely sticks to itself and doesn't stick to what you are winding at all. I took the first roll and threw it straight into the bin, opened the second roll and everything was exactly the same.

I installed a replacement sensor socket and the factory wiring harness isn't pristine. Ordinary tape didn't seem to stick or stand up to the heat near the engine. This stuff did its job. It stands still and looks like a factory film.

Not at all what I wanted, and I'm a little upset that I paid $7 for a roll of duct tape that's so flimsy and not sticky at all. I have an entire engine full of bare wires and I wanted real harness tape. Fibrous tape is used for tying bundles. I work in an auto electrician so I use wire tape every day.
