Great PCI-e splitters!

Simply magical! I have two PCI-E graphics cards on the same motherboard and this splitter is great for powering both cards!

Extremely cheap quality

buyers beware - EVERY one I received came loose and had the power cords pulled out. Extreme risk of equipment damage if handled improperly.

Does what you want it to do

The biggest compliment I can give any cable is that once installed you don't have to think about it. And so far it has been like this - set and forget. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Reliability

Cheap splitters work best for cables and connections

So if you're not careful when plugging it in, the cables will push out on the splitters on the back of the 8-pin connector like any splitter I've had. Incorrectly protected, not quite sure, if it doesn't connect securely, there may be a short circuit.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Low maintainability

My PSU almost burned out

Cables needed to disconnect power from the PSU to my risers. After turning the device on, my power supply clicked and would not turn on. After all the splitters were removed, the power supply turned on. Luckily the power supply has built in protection, otherwise I would have lost it.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • No instructions

False advertising, 22 AWG instead of 18 AWG, poor quality

Wires not as thick as advertised by seller, approx. 22 AWG instead of 18 AWG. This isn't enough to power higher performance GPUs, and you'll experience occasional OS crashes and reboots that occur from time to time. The wires get hot, but thankfully they don't burn when FireWire is on. The pop-up from the connectors easily creates a bad connection when connected to the GPU connectors. I wish I knew the facts sooner as I have used these cables on a remote work computer that was experiencing…

DO NOT BUY THESE - NON-FLAMMABLE 18 AWG

Can't be that these are actually 18 AWG cables. I failed about 15 of them and now I have to replace them all. I'll see if Revain will refund me one of these - I've bought quite a few over the months. I can only imagine how many stability issues my setup has with these splitters. Not only do they pose a risk of fire or melting, which of course can damage your equipment, they are also cheaply made with wires coming out of the connectors. very easy. I would strongly advise against buying them…

Pros
  • Audio & Video Accessories
Cons
  • Doubt

I use these to split the 6 to 6+2 cables from my breakout board into two for risers. I could power more adapters per output, but I had to make at least two adapters per cable to have enough for my GPUs. Anyone who has built a PC for a long time knows the golden rule - never use modular cables of other ATX power. deliver. I was concerned about using 3rd party cables to disconnect the main cables from my breakout board but they worked great. Again, I'm using them to split the connection to the…
